Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took the car out Sunday for a nice drive, but soon realize that my turn-signals are not shutting off as I come out of the turn. I can hear the clicking as I turn the wheel but the indicators continue to flash until i ,manually move the arm. Has this happened to anyone else? I did a search but found nothing. Any Ideas?

POST 2Original post

most likely casue is the sprial cassette, the tab that cancels the turn signals breaks off , could also be a t/s switch but those usuualy only fail to one side. Need to pull the steering wheel and take a looksie. Remove the 2 t30 torx screws from the back of the steering wheel, Remove the air bag remove the big nut on the steering wheel, think its a 21 or 22 mm . now remove the 2 phillps screws from the black thing you see under the wheel, gentally pull towards you it will only move about 2 inchs. look at the back side? Is there a 3/4 inch long 3/4 inch wide tab sticking out the back?
