Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry I should introduce myself yesterday before I had my first post, I just got my 02 996 I absolutely love the car, it's alot faster than I thought, only 26k miles. PSM, Bose 18s.....

POST 2Original post

great looking car, I got my black 1999 996 just over a year ago, and I still get a buzz everytime I drive it. Im sure youll have many great hours of driving in it. I love Porsches in Black as well, just make sure you get some good wash and polish Cheers Paul

POST 3Original post

Hey there, what a beautiful car, I just bought my 02 targa as well, I absolutely love it. I hope you have as much fun driving yours as I have been. Enjoy Dr Jeremy B

POST 4Original post

Hey you bought it from that ebay company, no? I looked at a ton of their cars in the months preceeding my purchase. How did it go, was the car as advertised and were they good to work with? I can think of worse places to take pictures than an airplane hangar...

POST 5Original post

SCHWEET P-car! Is it Midnight Blue Metallic? What color is the interior... Graphite Grey or Black? Love the side skirts (a.k.a. rocker panels for those of you that are insecure in your masculinity!).

POST 7Original post

I have an 04 black on black C2. I love it, but man get ready to hate all the paint maintenance you're going to have to do to keep it shiny and swirl free. Do a search for OC Ben's tips on proper care. P21S products are your friend.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes it was dealership selling cars on ebay, end up it was across the street from where I work, Car runs great, couple small issues, on the exhaust tips, but I should able to fix it.

POST 11Original post

ecarlink, no? I looked at p car there before I purchased the car I ended up with. Len's a good guy.

POST 12Original post

Very nice! The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the mk I aerokit side skirts. The mk II versions are much better IMHO, but the car still looks better with these than with none at all! You should put some lowered springs in the car to really give it a great aggressive look.

POST 14Original post

Car looks great. Love the skirts. Dark colours are a bit of pain to keep clean and swirl free, but they sure look sweet when they're all shined up. Congrats.

POST 15Original post

Nice car.....but is the Bonanza in the background missing something??

POST 16Original post

Gorgeous 996 - and while not a huge fan of aerokits, it looks awesome on your car. Also the wheels are perfect for the car. Use it well!! Phil G. '04 Atlas/Black C4S coupe

POST 17Original post

Nice car. Is that a V35B that's missing a prop? Where in Texas are you?

POST 18Original post

Great looking car - I drive a black one as well - lots of work to keep it clean, but I love it. I think those side skirts look great - keep 'em. I almost bought a car from ecarlink as well but backed out at the last second when a local CPO popped up, but that guy Len was pretty good to deal with.

POST 19Original post
