Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

If you can get the Porsche dealer to give you a 2 year warranty on a 99 996 with 70k miles and <30k, then jump on it. I am very surprised they would CPO such a car though. I would ensure everything is in writing as you understand it. 70k miles is nothing, but get an independent PPI, in addition to the warranty.
Champion is the biggest porsche dealer in Amerika, if they say you are getting a cpo warranty, then it sounds like a great deal to me....
very good deal...jump on it.
Not a bad deal, but I'd get a PPI done on it even though it has a warranty. I've seen similar cars advertised for ~30K or a couple of thousand less, but without a CPO warranty. The reason I'd get the PPI is that you don't really want to have to take advantage of that CPO warranty, though it is nice to have. For $200-250 you can save yourself a lot of headaches and find out if you're likely to have warranty issues.
Good deal ,get the ppi, the 3.4 motor is indestructable. You/PAG can cpo cars all the way back to my98, usually 8yrs back.
