Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

These are not the gretest pics obviously. I will try and get some better ones later. Spec on the car are 2004 C2. Blk on blk. Carrera II rims, manual tranny, supple leather. I don't know what else. No mods yet. I got the car last month and have put 1000k miles on it. It has about 1020 total now. I use it as a daily driver, but I only commute about 2 miles one way to work each day. I will eventually get to 2k and get to open it up a bit. I will probably head to the track in the near future too.

POST 3Original post

good looking car....I think it needs to be lowered!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All in due time. I will figure out what kind of mods I want eventually. I am really a novice at modifying cars. I have had a BMW 540 for the last 7 years. That car was awesome but not really one that a person would necessarily want to modify much. I need to figure out what all I want to do from a performance aspect and from an appearance aspect. I think one aethetic thing I am doing for sure is changing to the aluminum dials. May get some anti sway/roll bars and lower it eventually. We'll see.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

kilrgt, Where did you get the dials? Did you order off the internet? Could you send me a link if that is what you did? Thanks.

POST 7Original post

i bought them from www.departstop.com The guy there is Dayton , good stand up guy, I have bought allot from him and always ends well.

POST 9Original post

uh oh...how many times have we heard that before..."i'd like to get some aluminum rings to start..." once you put them on...it'll be like crack!! you'll be hooked and start modding like the rest of us mad men!!! Good luck! Member- Mod Addicts Anonymous

POST 10Original post

Nice looking P-car. MOD suggestions - clear side markers, aluminum gauge rings, B&M (or OEM) Short Shifter/ Easy, and relatively inexpensive.

POST 11Original post

contact the bumperplug guy...he is a local forum guy, great service, great prices and always good to support the smaller independent guy...he has all the goodies you will need.....

POST 12Original post

no kidding. did an order with eric and couldnt be happier.

POST 13Original post

Nice car, and now having seen the price you paid for new old stock, I think you got a great deal too. You do have your cars parked in the wrong positions in that garage, however. Greater risk of the dreaded door ding on the 911!

POST 14Original post

We have two things in common - we each have black 996's, and we each have Smokey Joe BBQ's perched precariously in our garage. Hahahaha!

POST 15Original post

Love those rims!!! The Germans have Style and Class!! I am thinking about changing out the center caps for color on mine. With a black car the color center caps would look very nice.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am going to rearrange the cars today. We have 3 vehicles and only space for 2. THe wife took one of the cars and moved it into my spot so I had to take the vacant spot there. It usually is in the opposite space for the door ding reason. The grill there is a portable weber grill. We take it so tailgates at football games. I have a big bbq pit in the back yard that I use at home.
