Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I removed the whole right rear interior of my car this evening to track down a water leak I'm having. I'm going to take a hose to it tommorow to see what the cause is. Please identify the following for me so I can determine whether they are causes. What is the black line in the first image? Is the tan line in the 2nd and 3rd image the sunroof drain? If so, should there be that kink in it? It looks like it was kinked in manufacture with a heat stamp. Thanks very much

POST 2Original post

Is your head liner out or just the side pillars??? I want more pics if it is!!!! What ever you took out, show how its done too..... those lines can be found in the PET am fairly sure the brown one is a sunroof drain, the black ??

POST 3Original post

I agree with Ed, I think the tan line is the sunroof drain, #1 in the diagram. Not sure what hte black linw is though.

POST 4Original post

Tim, thats a sweet diagram, is it from the service manual?

POST 5Original post

I think it is. I saved it about two years ago from a post by someone else. I wanted to be able to post it when this issue came up again, which it has 4 or 5 times in the last couple of years.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
