Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

IMHO there has not been any professional formal education on how to drive sports cars on the track. Where do you get the proper education? You can hire a private coach and rent a track (which I do), but that is very, very expensive. Bob Read (lapping days.com) and myself (48 Hours of Las Vegas) in conjuction with Craig Stanton ( www.craigstanton.com ) and John Mefford (racer and Derek Daly and Skip Barber lead instructor) have developed a Rennschule (race school) to teach and ingrain the techniques of Porsche and sports car driving. For the price of a set of Cups, you can learn lifelong driving techniques that will make you quicker and safer on the track. There is NO substitue to proper personalized instruction from the best Porsche drivers in the country. Why are they so fast and safe? Learn their techniques first hand and have more fun on the track! We have reserved Buttonwillow for July 13, 14. We will limit attendence to 12 students for the Rennschule and have 5 deposits already. All students will have scheduled personalized instruction. This is NOT a driving event! There are cheaping ways if you just want track time. This event is only for someone who is serious about developing their own track skills and want to learn these techniques from the very best. The cost is less than half of what professional race schools cost. We believe that this is the best and most cost effective way to learn. PM me for details on the program and see if its right for you. We need 5 more signups by next week before we have to go "hard" on the track, so an expression of intrest in imperative. Update, we still have two spots left. You will not find a better education/$spent value. PM me for details. Philip
