Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As a child Smokey and the bandit was one of my favorite movies.

POST 2Original post

Funny how it always seem to work in the movies!! We're showing our age A younger person would have said they seen it in Fast and the Furious

POST 3Original post

I forgot about the Cayote..man I used to watch that show. The shifter looked like a 308/328.

IIRC from an old kit car magazine, the Coyote was a VW-based kit car with a crappy interior. All "interior" shots of the Coyote for the show were of the producer's Ferrari....which puts you right on the money.

I think it might still fit.....

POST 8Original post

LOL - Hardcastle and McCormick.. I used to watch that show, also. I think the judge had a cooler car - didn't he have something like a '67 vette convertible or something like that?

OK, I can't resist any longer. In the immortal words of Buford T Justice..."duck or you're gonna be talkin out your A@#" Sorry, watched this one way too many times, can just about quote the whole movie.

POST 12Original post

I like this Buford T Justice quote: "There is NO way you came from my loins." "As soon as I get home, the first thing I'm gonna do is punch your Momma in the mouth."

POST 14Original post

Didn't Clark Griswold drive the family truckster under a logging trailer in the original Vacation movie?

POST 15Original post

Not to take this off topic, but..... What's your pick for the best movie car chase Mine - "Eleanor" in Gone is 60 seconds. Can't help but pump up my surround sound during that chase. The ramp launch off the flatbed is a bit over the top, but at least they tried to be somewhat factual by showing the car destroyed at the end of the chase http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=242ixkBIz8w

POST 16Original post

^ I thought the Eleanor chase was kinda ruined by the lame music they played during the chase. I like to hear engine sounds, therefore Bullitt wins it for me. They were playing music when he was following the charger, but as soon as the charger burned out and took off, the music stopped and all you heard was the small block vs big block. Also, the fact that it was Steve McQueen doing the driving was even cooler. There was no talking either - just driving.

POST 18Original post

alright, I admit it, I had a Fiat X/19 that could pull that stunt easily. many a summer afternoons when I would park it under a parked rig, targa top off, and out of the sun so I could have my lunch
