Just want to see who's coming to Parade in Charlotte. I've booked a hotel room for the family at the Embassy Suites in Concord - for a family of 5, it's a better deal than the Westin, and it's roomier. I'll arrive Saturday and leave Tuesday. Maybe we can start planning a get-together over dinner. Let me know - it would be great to actually meet some of you guys and see put a face/car with the name. Bob

The Embassy Suites are nice. My wife and I went to a party there on Saturday night. They opened a little over a year or so ago. It is 1 mile from Lowe's Motor Speedway and 1 mile from IH-85 for easy access to central Charlotte in 20 to 25 minutes (non-rush hour).
I'm thinking about going - can you send me the hotel info? I was thinking of doing the same days.
I am going --- Monday - Tues - Wed. Quite a few P guys and wives are going from Myrtle Beach. As I understand you need to sign up the first day of regerstration - it is $175.00 to attend. The hotel is supposed to be great and buses will take you to events. Chuck 951

I would love to do the DE, but I'm out of vacation time because of the vacations I already have planned for the rest of the year with the family - I'm envious! Glad to hear so many of you are coming to town. It won't be easy to find a place that can accommodate so many of us. So, as we get closer, I'll ask for commitments and make a reservation a a decent restaurant if you're up for it. Bob
Bob, you might want to look south toward SC or in SC. Charlotte will be very crowded if GTG is on the weekend, even away from parade. If it doesn't conflict with me volunteering, I'm in.
