bought my pre owned 04 C2 private party. I now notice that in the trunk (front of the car) there are 5 bolts on the top that hold the front fenders onto the car. (10 total L + R) These torx bolts are nicely painted from the factory... on the car I bought, two of the five bolts have been wrenched (probably removed?).. they are the two front most bolts on BOTH sides of the car.. odd thing is what could have happened? Why were they removed? To replace fenders in the case of an accident, they would have to remove all 5 bolts on each side, thus showing the wrenching on all 5 bolts (or 10 for both sides) Any ideas why the front most 4 bolts were wrenched or removed? I am worred that something happened that I dont know about.. The Carfax came out clean, one previous owner, and the car only has 5700 miles on it! Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!

Do you have a pic of the bolts you are talking about? I think some bras require that you fasten a clip under the front-most bolds. Maybe someone was trying to attach a bra and decided on a tighter fit? Just a wild guess.
Those bolts are used to secure the Porsche bra clips. He may have had one and then removed them.
The style bra I have for the Box requires that a fender torx screw be removed on each side for clips.
Ditto, it is for the bra. If it looks like there is a small amount of wear around the bolts, it's because it is very hard to get the tabs under the bra clips if the bolts are too tight.
Here are some pictures of twhat I am talking about.. there is a circular wear mark around the 2nd torx bolt, prob where the bra hook was installed, however, why were the two first front most torx bolts wrenched (left & right side)?? any ideas? The same type of wear & pattern appear on both sides of the car (Left and Right), can anyone confirm i this is the result of a bra install?
does the bra use one bolt on each side or both front bolts on each side?
One on each side.
is it the very front bolt or the second from the front bolt that it is attached to?
2nd bolt up from the bumper.
