POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just picked up an 02 C4S over the weekend from a private seller in Burlingame, CA. Its got 29K miles and is in mint shape save for my little PSS9 bad install issues which will be remedied here shortly. Full OEM CF interior, power sport seats with artic silver color backs, ssk, PSE sport always on mod, Misha wing (what a great vendor), Tequipment aero lip, body moldings painted body color, aluminum gauge rings, Evo stage 2... a few other things. I just added the OZ 3s today, 19x12s in the back. Perfect fitment thx to [email removed] . Super guy. I also need to thank the people people who referred me to Dave Modderman. He is a stand-up Porsche driver and tech and shop owner in the Bay Area. A huge thx to Nick @ Sonnen Porsche for taking care of me and the 911 out there in Marin County, CA. Ive been lurking here for a few years. I used to own an S2000 Comptech supercharged on FIkse FM-10s. Great, nimble car. Awesome value. Then moved to an E46 M3 lowered on BBS LMs. Smooth operator with classic looks and a bulldog stance. I loved them both! But by far the 911 C4S is the best drive so far. The mechanical feel and sound of it, the holistic approach to good driving is what blows me away. I am proud to say I am a member of this community now officially. Heres a pic of it getting corner balanced, aligned and height adjusted at the shop right now. I may come across as harsh at times, but Im a good guy, I promise. My mom would kill me if I wasnt a good boy! Best, Ben P.S. Ray S, LV Dell, M3killa, Fred, et al... thx for your patience. You know what I'm talking about.

POST 3Original post

Very nice! Own it in good health (and don't become a 993 hater!!!)

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm a huge fan of the 993 widebodies as well as my cousin owns a '97 C4S with Ruf aero bits. Oh, how could I forget... huge thx to Audion19s, too! Holla at yo boy!

POST 7Original post

Nice! This shows what a GREAT deal Ray (Club411)'s 2000 C2 is - looks very similar to this lovely C4s, at a steep discount! Looks aren't everything, of course, but still...

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Andy, I have no problems admitting when another 911 is similar/better/faster/stronger as I do not have my d!ck tied to my car, but as much as I love aerokitted '99-'01s, it's not even close. =D C'mon, man! lol

POST 9Original post

I know, I know. I'm just talking basic looks. The C4S is a whole nuther car, of course!

POST 10Original post

Congrats! Nice looking C4S. I am thinking of ordering a Pilot Sports for my car in near future, maybe from Tirerack.com. Where did you have your wheels and tires installed? (Which shop in Washington? I am in Seattle too.) Are they good?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I personally think the PS2s are outrageously priced, man. The rears were $470 + shipping + mounting and balance for 315s (that's 1 tire). That's insanity, but I went with it because Bridgestone does not make their most excellent RE050A Pole Positions in 315s. The BS tires are not only cheaper (I'd guess more like $350 per same size as PS2s), but stick just as well as the PS2s and they're asymmetrical. Contact [email removed] for the tires and for mounting and balancing, I have that and other things done by Colin @ www.cantrellmotorsport.com . Good luck!

POST 13Original post

so after 531 posts... Congrats! you have a great-looking C4S!

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

C2 is lighter and a better "drivers" car, but it's the basic looks of the C4S that kills! It's all good, AndyK. We're all friends here.

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thx, Cosmos. You are a scholar and a gentleman.

POST 18Original post

Love the body moldings painted to match the body color. That is Sweeeet. Crap!!! now you have me spending more money Enjoy in good health

POST 19Original post

Wow, 315's are massive, and super expensive! Enjoy sticking like glue though!

POST 22Original post

We need bigger better pics Ben ... Sweet looking ride. Congrats!

POST 27Original post

So glad you like them Ben. I told you they'd fit ......

POST 30 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Rennlist, my name is Ben and I look like I'm constipated here because I've just been bit by the 911 bug. The 911 bug temporarily caught me in a state of myopia making me think I just signed with Universal and was to star in a rap music video with a widebody 996 and 50 Cent. Fortunately, the doctor found a quick remedy and I am back to my normal self again. This was taken right before I was about to hit hwy 1. Little do I know that 30 mins later I would find myself stranded at Stinson Beach. Lovely place. Turns out there was rust in the tensioner bearing due to the past owner not driving his car very much and leaving it sitting in his garage after a wash. The kind gentleman who took this pic offered a trade for his rental Oldsmobile to which I replied with a "no, thank you". In the garage Down the street 12" & 315s Arctic silver backs Interior Best, Ben

POST 33Original post

Nice car! I have a feeling alot of us came from S2000's then E46 M3's then 996.

POST 34Original post

Ben Round 2 of your photos look great. That thing is da' bomb!! Drive it like you won it in a divorce.

POST 35Original post

hope I will join you soon in announcing the new arrival. Drove a few turbos over this week and also a C4S. Congrats. We will have to cruise around Seattle once I have found my 996.

POST 36Original post

Looking good in the C4S Ben. I miss the car already. Glad to see you made it home. That's what I get for having too many cars. I should of drove it more often... LoL hey you didn't tell me you were going to put 12's on it. I didn't realize it would fit. Snap a close up of it when you get a chance and email it to me. Thanx. It was a pleasure meeting you . Alex

POST 38 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You're so in love with them HREs I didn't have the heart to break the news to ya, bro. Seriously, spend your Burlingame mafia $s elsewhere on your phatty GT-Trizzle. HREs really don't justify their price in the R&D/quality dept, but hey they do make very pretty wheels so I can't give you too hard a time about it. Let me know about that whole skateboard p, bape activities. Ballin! Here's a close-up pic with the 315s: It's all about the width/offset. Best, Ben

POST 39Original post

Ben, that is one of the hottest pcars I've ever seen. Congrats!

POST 40 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thx, Kata. Glad we could join the 911 club at around the same time ya heard? I'll be around your parts next week at the Brixen Ivy for the Cubs game. I love Chitown! R Kelly, baby! All the best to you, Ben

POST 42Original post

Wow, great looking car! I need one of those wings...

POST 43Original post

Nicely Done! You have great taste in Automobiles! I need the front lip you have. Is it factory part or aftermarket? Steve

POST 44Original post

Chitown is good stuff! enjoy the game and hopefully the weather continues to be good here.

POST 46Original post

You found proof a car sholdn't be put away for winter so drive it all the time. I used to like the weekend cruise from Corvallis to Tacoma and back. Stranger loves for their cars are here. Like posting cars no longer in the garage, posting in water cooled when they tradered their 996 already.

POST 56Original post

Okay I'm done. As you can see I have no life on this Sat. night. I am looking forward to watching the LA Galaxy game however. That's soccer. Yes soccer.

Be nice now. Ruthless people like to act nice and care free. It makes for a happier day, like today sure is beautiful with the songs of birds, volcanoes smoking and rennlist I take all this back if this is just to get Ivangene in trouble with his neighbors

POST 60Original post

LoL - never met him in person, seen the car, knew enough to stay clear

POST 61Original post

Today I had a cruise with the p-club to a food drive for the hungry then off to a lunch at a golf course. I should of known better to stay away from those porsche guys but I didn't. Of course if I would of crusied at my own rate the two cars our porsche convoy passed by getting a ticket could of been me You do the coast lately? Used to be a trip us guys in Oregon would do after the clouds left in spring.

POST 62Original post

we had our "spring kick off tour" in which I got kicked in the a$$ by a motorcycle cop to the tune of $704

POST 66Original post

Quotes source post: 7492634

Would you like to elaborate...$704 worth?

POST 70Original post

that is not possible $704 for a ticket! Man, I thought mine were expensive I would fight it.

POST 71Original post

I have a court date... to be fair most of it was becasue my insurance card was for the old car (since I just bought it and the new cards didnt arrive until the day OF the ticket!!) so yea, fighting it is no problem... still the little woman was pretty quiet on the return trip home -
