Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

http://www.topspeed.com/cars/porsche...n-ar99161.html Def a different era for Porsche....

POST 2Original post

I would buy that one, and I don't really like SUV's.

David 2004 Cayenne S - Lapis Blue Metallic

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK... I just got the name, Cayenne Junior.... Cajun. Pretty silly.

POST 8Original post

I like it, although, I was disappointed to see them still knocking the Panamera.

POST 9Original post

It keeps Porsche in business and the new Cayanne is a looker if I've ever seen on.

I agree. The 2011 Cayenne is a great looking car.

POST 11Original post

It looks like they're trying to get some "marketshare" from BMW X6... I quoted marketshare because there's very little market for coupe SUV's anyway.

POST 12Original post

I don't even get the "Coupe" SUV thing? The only reason I even have an SUV is for the 4 doors and convenience of it for the Kid & Dog. Looks like a giant Golf or somthing

POST 13Original post

Good Grief.... another Porsche SUV. One was more than enough; now they have really lost it. And with the Sub-Boxster probably coming along this makes Porsche look pretty desperate. These entry level vehicles are gutless. Porsche is now competing with BMW C'est La Vie I'm waiting to see what McLaren puts out in the next few years....

Comparing BMW to Porsche.....

Yeah, it's a 4-door SAV Coupe.

Yes, it's almost like Porsche realized that selling 350 different versions of the 911 and Boxster wasn't going to be enough to pay the bills, eh?

POST 19Original post

Depending on the price of course, I'd consider one if it was available with 4 doors.

POST 20Original post

Looks pretty cool, but I can't see buying one. Not an SUV guy I guess.

POST 21Original post

Our Cayenne is actually a wonderful vehicle. We really like it. But... It's an SUV and that's how we use it. It hauls dogs, skis, kids, goes off road for hunting and fishing trips, etc. I don't see the point of a smaller, less utility-oriented version.

POST 22Original post

If the Cajun doesn't have at least a 5000 lb towing capacity, it won't make my short list of new SUV's to consider in a couple years.

POST 23Original post

Looks like it would be nice for those NYC-Chicago visit the family for christmas on barely plowed roads. It'd be nice if it had a bit more get up and go than the 6 cylinder slushbox cayenne that I had as a loaner.

POST 24Original post

Meh, another SUV. :/ Chop two doors off the Panamera and make the 928s spiritual predecessor. Might actually turn out quite pretty too.
