Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a set of 18" sport classic wheels and just bought a set of 993turbo-twist wheels. The new 5-spoke are thicker where the bolt goes thru so less of the bolt can be used. Is this ok or should I buy new longer bolts? The difference seems to be 3-4mm. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=48 and http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=39

if changing wheels, the length of the bolts should NEVER be shorter than the original stock setup.... for eg: if you add a 7mm spacer, you need bolts that are 7mm longer than the stock bolts.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
