Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't know if it's the cold weather or what, but when I start the car the windows drop an inch or so and then go up, then my tripmeter resets to zero and the clock changes to 1:00am. Sounds like an electrical problem? Anyone else have this issue? The car is also hard to start when the engine is hot.

POST 2Original post

Bob, That's definately not right... bring it in to Porsche and have them look at it.

POST 3Original post

Remove, clean and burnish the battery post connections and if that doesn't help then you need a new battery.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was wondering if I needed a new battery, I'm bringing it to Paul Miller Porsche tomorrow. I guess 3 years is average life and hopefully still under warranty.
