Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, I ordered sway bar links from a local shop and when I went to replace them they were different. The ones on my car, the bolts turn 180' pointing opposite direction, the new ones turn 90'. So I thought nothing of it thought I got the wrong ones, returned them and ordered from pelican parts, same problem! Has anyone seen these links before, they look like this. |---- | | ----| Thanks

2 wheel drive front suspension is different that 4 wheel.... You have been getting the 2 wheel drive version when you need the 4 wheel drive version. David

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been ordering c4 models specifically. Neither of those in the page look like mine tho

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone? It actually kind of looks like a 993 drop link I think, how is that possible

POST 9Original post

maybe its me, can't you just turn the links upside down to reverse the points? My bad... 180 vs 90. Yeah wrong parts...

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Problem is I have no idea where to buy these 180' parts, what are they from?!

POST 11Original post

If all things fail... Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...links&_sacat=0

POST 12Original post

You are looking for front links, right? The correct part number is 996 343 073 05, unless you have modified suspension components. What part number have you been getting? If you're getting the RWD end links, they have separate part numbers for left and right sides. The AWD end links are the same part number for both sides. ECS Tuning has them available . The rear links should be 180 as you describe, for C2 and C4. They are part number 996 333 069 04.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am ordering front links for a c4 2001 and keep getting the 90' angle ones, an pelican is saying they've never seen my drop links before.

POST 14Original post

Sorry I just realized that I completely screwed this up. Excuse my last post just realized I misread it.
