Hi All Have been lurking for a while as I searched for my 996 and have just closed a deal on one. Many year ago I had two 911s and then the kids arrived and after many years I am am the proud owner of a 2001 Carrera coupe with Tiptronic. Thanks mostly to this forum and Adrian Streather's essential guide to the 996, I zoned in on a good example. Although a 2001 model, it only has 34,000 kms (21k miles) and the PPI unearthed nothing to cause huge concern. I am in Brisbane Australia and the car was found in Adelaide (2,000 kms away). I'd be keen to meet others from the Brisbane, Gold Coast area, please introduce yourselves to me. All the best. Anthony
