Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey Eli yes i got 03 turbo fenders the frt bumper is 03 turbo [i removed about 2cm from each side of the oem reinforcement rebar ] and the hdlts are 03 bi xenon all the parts are painted and installed.........the only problem i have is the hdlts wiring and the plugs........no one [ inc the local dealer ] can tell me for sure what part number i need............the car looks great !

POST 4Original post

If you’re converting over from non-xenon to xenon then you’re going to need a harness. After that you’ll still need to “splice”….. Email or contact Bobby: [email removed] for information and pricing…. [phone removed]- Ext. 231 Hope this helps, -Eli

POST 5Original post

996shane - I was considering doing the same conversion until the costs started to push upwards of $5K and beyond. Do you still think it is a worthwile mod now that you are almost done with it?? Cost (if you want)??

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

car looks real sharp [ looks like the anniversary edition ] if you want to spend money on different mods ....thats your call, i love the way it looks ! if you shop smart you can get good deals !

POST 7Original post

Shane, Let me know if you need that harness..... BTW: The conversion is money WELL spent when you compare the two.... -Eli

POST 8Original post

Are the Turbo fenders a bolt on or do you have to get creative with them? Part of me says if I'm going to get a turbo bumper and upgrade to litho lights anyhow what's a couple of fenders going to cost on top of what I've already spent. Jasmine Motorsport and Design911 sell the facelift kits for $3200 (2600 Euro). At that price with paint and install etc I start thinking how less of a PITA it would be to buy a nice set of HRE 543Rs w/PS2s. hmmmmm. Nice decisions to have to make.

POST 9Original post

Either way I can help you out..... Just picked up a set of HRE for our "sponsored 996 Turbo"... [email removed] -Eli
