Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Did a search and didn't really find anything on here, apologies in advance if I missed it. Anyone familiar with these? You Tube http://www.rstube.co.uk/exhaust.php?idproduit=148 Sounds amazing to me. Why is it called a silencer though? Or am I looking at the wrong part on the website?

POST 2Original post

I guess they mean muffler in US english. Weight is about 30lbs so their not too heavy and they do sound good.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seems like nobody is really familiar with these huh?

Not on this side of the pond. But it would be suitable to rename them to Shart Classics because that's what you might do after hearing them(in a good way).

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, I agree. I'd say that's the nicest sounding 996 exhaust clip I've heard.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
