Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Just what I wanted, a 911 that gets to 60 mph in 7 seconds and takes 10 hours to recharge. Hold me back...
you are gonna see more of this stuff... Lotus has one.... very impressive!

If you put a 2 in front of the 7, (a.k.a. 27 seconds) then it would be like owning a Honda!

and another 1 in front of the 27 would be like the Suburban! (plus you get 12 MPG!) I need a beer, HAPPY FRIDAY... 1st Round is on my, heck second round too!!
Thanks for posting that - I was thinking that something like this should be done. Electric is the way to go actually, in my humble opinion. Once electric cars outperform the gas burners, I think there will be more acceptance of it. Cars like the tesla get people's attention. I'd love to see Porsche do it. As for weight - on an electric car you can do away with a lot of heavy stuff that is needed for a gas engine. Additionally, electric motors give torque right through the range of RPM's. Pretty cool. This hack job by Ruf gets a 7 second 0-100 - that's too bad. I think people would really pay attention if it did it in 4 seconds. Maybe in the near future the electric cars will outperform gas cars in all aspects - if they do that, I think they are going to win everyone over.
^ except purists who just really don't care if it's electric. i would honostly rather spend on gas ten electric, even though electric is cheaper by like 2g per year. electric has no noise, i want noise i want a symphony coming from the hood, not a whine like a supercharger
something wierd about this tells me the data is just begining to be checked.. Its 1/2 as fast 0-60 as the tesls it has 1/2 (or less) range than the Tesla It goes 40 mph (top speed) faster than the Tesla There are surely many differences, but I think it OK to start looking in that dirrection. It could take 10 years to come up with a good solution, and by then maybe even some purists will look that way. Tesla had a car on a closed parking lot less than a mile from my house a just a few days ago. In person, the car is OK.. not my style, but OK. The thing that shocked me was how fast it took off and the absolute lack of any sound during obvious rapid accelleration. When they hit the brakes and the tires skipped was the first sound you could here.. rather wierd when it is coming AT you the missing sound is a lot less apparent and the car looks good thru the turns. The interior is very "basic" much more so than even the Elise (IMHO).. hard to get in and out of like a Lambo and quite small from the outside (like a cart) Overall, I would say its great to see money dirrected that way. The crossover will come and the more of these we get on the road, the more gas will be saved for driving traditional cars.. Though from a "green" standpoint... I dont buy it for one second. There are too many variables to just say it save resources. That is what the "man" wants us to think though and so the lies (statistics) presented will support that and we will get it one way or another.. $0.02 worth of coffee chat Morning all!!! E
Bet the retail will be more than stock gasoline powered..., anything RUF is $$$, but well worth it. Interesting none the less. We had better get used to the electric powered, I'm afraid.
