Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Details are in a Rennlist East Region Forum thread. Last drive we had over 30 cars of many types, all well driven! Hope to see you there.

POST 2Original post

just in case you can't find the "East Region Forum " thread Saturday April 9th 7:30am Barnes & Noble Parking lot on Mansell Rd just east of GA400 spread the word

POST 3Original post

what area are you leaving from, and what route will you be on? I'm in nashville, and might hook up w/you guys if I'm invited!!!!

POST 4Original post

Man...I miss those Chad <<----lived in Gwinnett Co. for 5 years.

POST 5Original post

rich - great time for you to meet all your southern neighbors and then some the area we leave from is Alpharetta then head north into the Mtns. It's difficult to say where exactly we'll be at any given time during the drive but we usually take the same roads as they are UNBELIEVABLE. Nothing like having banked curves where you can see 3-4 turns in advance with gorgeous views if you want to risk taking your eyes off the road!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Of course you're envited! We've had guests from Nashville before! We will be driving from Dahlonega up towards Suches, Blairsville, and Morgantown and back down. If you wanted to join us, you could head down to Dalton, GA, then head east eventually picking up Ga 52 into Dahlonega. Or you could head southeast from Cleveland TN down into the area we will be driving. Let us know if you're coming, we may be able to get some others from Nashville to join you.

POST 7Original post

ok guys - look like some nice weather is in store for us - the rain is supposed to come & go by Friday afternoon. see ya saturday!

POST 8Original post

I miss the old Alpharhetta Autobahn and the drives in and around Dohlanega(sp?) somebody take a picture of the yellow sign that says "steep grades sharp curves next 36 miles" it goes to Suches. Loved the roads out there. I almost rode my CBR 900 off more than one cliff out there.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any initial impressions of your ROW 030?

POST 10Original post

Jill has her script for Dramamine and some gallon sized baggies, so we are ready to go.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Maybe you could get some surgical masks for protection from sudden eruptions.

POST 12Original post

hahahahaha - but i hope it doesn't come down to that. that was really bizarre that she would be able to do well on all the other drives but this last one "got" her. Maybe our driving has improved

POST 13Original post

i haven't really "pushed" the car yet because I haven't had time to get an allignment. i "ballparked" the allignment when I put the car back together and it drives straight with the steering wheel straight but at 80+ MPH it feels a little unsteady - something it has never felt like before. i'm pretty sure this is the allignment so i've got an appt with Gran Turismo over on Shallowford Rd. The local deTomaso crowd raves about their shop and they seem to have done plenty of porsches before AND they are less than half the $300 the dealer charges. I got my insider over at the dealer to fax over the ROW M030 allignment specs for my car so we SHOULD be set. we'll see Sat morning

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Please save those alignment specs. I don't know if they would be the same for my car though. Have you measured your height yet? These are my stock heights on my car w/35k miles: (ground to wheel well thru centerline) DF 26 7/16" PF 26 13/16" DR 26" PR 26 1/8" My rear seems to have sagged; 26" is supposedly about what row 030 should be for the rear.

POST 15Original post

unfortunately i forgot to measure my car before so I don't have anything to compare it to. i haven't measured the height yet but will do before the drive. the allignment specs are different for our cars but the paper that I have has the allignement specs for each of the different models of C2 & C4, cab and coupe. I can fax it to you if you'd like so i won't "forget" on saturday morning. just pm me your fax number

POST 16Original post

Butler Tire does a great job with alignments. 4 Wheel Alignment on Pcar is $140 and they give you this nice before and after print out. They also offer high speed on the car wheel balancing. Philip.

POST 17Original post

hmmm....just measured my car. Either my car used to be really high or your suspension is worn: DF 26.5" DR 26.25" i would've thought that my front would be lower than the rear but guess not....
