Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

https://goo.gl/photos/SmJg2DEQRHJg5Fm16 I don't know how to post pics so hopefully that google photos album link I built works for you guys. Bought this bad boy 2 wks ago and it spent last week with my local independent while I was away in Vegas working. It's a bone stock 02 MT with just 24k miles on the clock. The interior is absolutely immaculate. It's got one ding on the trailing edge of the passenger door. Left rear rim has about 2" of curb rash...and that's really it. So last week, we did the following: 4 new Sumi tires, new spark plugs and belts, AOS, drop stops, Eibach springs, replaced all fluids, installed a GT3 shifter, FF Classic shift **** (didn't like the original carbon/al shift ****) and did a paint correction. The paint correction is unbelievable...it looks like a totally new car. The last pic is our garage with the new 02 parked next to our 99 C2 Convertible. That's my wife's car now...black vs. white...good vs. evil!

POST 2Original post

Congratulations, black on black is a great combination. The forum has internal image hosting just click on the little image icon in the editor and it will allow you to upload and insert images.

POST 5Original post

Nice congrats. I'm starting to really appreciate the simple non-aero cars lines on our 996's. Really these cars are aging well IMO.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys. I'm finding new cool stuff that is different from our 99 every day. It's amazing how different they are even though both are called 996's.

Easy....easy...let's not get all crazy. Aero cars are not all that common and I love seeing them on the road. Not that I'm biased or anything.
