A thread sharing the simple appreciation of taking our cars on an empty twisty mountain road! Met a friend at 6:30am today in my C4 Cab, and we took the 25 mile, windy road that rises 6,000 feet above the Tucson desert. At the top, we had sunny conditions, 60 degrees F where we had breakfast before driving back down. During the ride up, and also the ride down, because we started early, there was not a single car in the way, just the ability to comfortably enjoy the car's performance in a relaxed way. A few pictures taken during the drive. John

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

yeeesssssss!!!!
Yes...a great road indeed. I went to law school at Arizona, and used to ride my bike from my house up to the top, and then back down again (The descent was much quicker!).
I went to U of A waaaay back in 61....Mt Lemon was a great spot for all sorts of fun stuff....brings back some great memories. Thanx for the pics.

Nice photos! My father in law lives in Tucson... pity I can't convince to buy a Porsche.
Cool pics - except for the fact that your engine is less than 2k rpms.. what's up with that?
