Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there a writeup on pulling the front rotors and removing the calipers? Found the brake pad writeup. Thanks, Marc the inept mechanic

POST 2Original post

Try Renntech. Though I must add that a shot or two of PB Blaster on the caliper and rotor nuts are HIGHLY recommended. The caliper bolts also usually get rusted and seized up. Some folks have had to re-tap the caliper carrier since it's an aluminum unit and the nut seized. Good luck and happy wrenching.
