You guys are great on this website. All the opinions and advice on my other post really helped. I once again need your opinions and experiences. Im thinking bout getting a aero wing from BetterbodiesMotorsport. Anyone know anything about these guys. Saw their ad in Excellence and really liked the look. Should I worry bout the fit or do all the wings usually fit. Any help would be great. Thanks

Nothing against betterbodies but I tried going after market three years ago. My body guy sent the wing back and I went with the Porsche Rear Deck lid and matching Front Bumper Cover and side skirts. Eric at www.bumperplugs.com posted something about a deal on these official Porsche parts from somewhere for $4900 not including side skirts. For me, it is Porsche Tequipment or nothing IMO. Mine is 2001 996 and takes the Aerokit I and wing is adjustable. 2002-2004 takes Aerokit II
Don't you need to "balance" out the areo on the car, not just do a wing? I was under the impression that one needed to add a front piece along with the rear for balance and car control, even on the street. Is this true?
Try MA Shaw. I've never heard of Better Bodies, an IMHO their stuff looks a little sketchy. There's also been some positive talk about Precision Porsche, but I don't know much abou them.

If you're going to drive at speed you do, the car will become unstable. If just going the speed limit or a little above there's not going to be any problem.
Why get a P-car if your just going to do the sped limit?!
