I guess a picture would help, but I'm at work, and my winter rims are all packed away in their nylon totes at home... I remember they are made in Italy, but I was told that doesn't mean they are not true Porsche rims. Is that true?? My 18" Twists are made in Germany. I know summer is over when I'm posting a question about my winter rims. Boo! Anyone know the deal?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ask them! Look at the back center there will be part #
Hey Andy, Porsche wheels usually have the offsets by the valve stem, most knockoffs do not, and as Gregg said there is a part number on the back probably starting with 996 or 993.
Damn, mine have no part number, and say Cup 3 made in Italy. I bought them from a guy in Westchester who advertised them as OEM. Does that mean they are worthless, or too heavy to use as winter rims?
sounds like from tirerack. i wouldn't say they are worthless.
I use them on my car with no problems. They are good wheels. If a pound or 2 worries you then sell them.

The wheels are Mille Miglia Cup 3's, not OEM. Mille Miglia was an Italian company. We did carry them until MM went under a few years ago. They were very high quality, just not OEM (which does not mean high quality by itself). I'd say the Cup 3 was equivalent in quality to OE solid spoke twists.
I have had a set of MM Cup 2's on my 86 for many, many years, No issues. Great wheels... even have track days on them.
Ah, cool! As long as they're good quality, I'm fine with them. I just didn't want to hear that they were prone to cracking, or just lame rims, etc. Thanks for the feedback!
