Please post if you have a coil over kit w/o aero kit - if you could post before and after pics that would be great! Just trying to figure out if I should spend money for the Aero or simply lower the car with a coil over kit - thank you!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Suspension is way better and it will transform the car's behavior. The suspension transforms the handling and also a little bit the looks whereas the aero kit will only transform the looks but your car will still look silly with the jacked up look. Get yourself a used GT3 suspension. A few members have them for sale over on the 996GT3 board. They are excellent and relatively cheap compared to new PSS10. Here's mine with suspension, side skirts and cup splitter on stock bumper.
Thanks - car looks great! The used GT3 Suspension will lower the car and work with my 1999 C4?
Oupsy, I doubt it will fit C4. Sorry I hadn't notice your name.
Here are some pictures of my current and former 911s. They are both 99 C2s. The lapis blue car has the Bilstein PSS9s and the purple (vesuvio) car is stock.
I do not have the best photos in the world . . . While I really appreciate the aero look I also like the lines the designers came up for the stock 996 too . . . As received: (note--I raise the wing after washing--just a habit, but should have put it down!) After PSS10s (and new wheels). My wheel well measurements went down 1.5 inch in front and 1 inch in back, or to 25.5 inches all around. The car looks longer, sleeker, etc., but, as mentioned earlier, the handling is the best part. Not only better, but a smoother ride (I ride 95% street, with only a visit to the track once a year or so. The ride is better than stock!) Have fun!
Awesome info guys - thanks a ton!
