Does anyone else find the standard factory seats uncomfortable?? are the sport seats better? I know my posture is not the greatest (and my mom says Im "husky" ) but I sometimes find it difficult to get comfortable with such aggressive lumbar support. esp on long drives

If your mom is accurate about your huskiness you would like the sport seats even less.

I think my standard seats are just about PERFECT. I don't even miss not having lumbar support, because lumbar support feels like exactly what it is--an inflatable bag pushing on my lower back.
I have a jacked up lower back with like 1 degree curvature instead of the 21 i should have. Lumbar is a life saver for me, but have to agree that you will likely enjoy the sport seats even less. Lose some weight tubby.
If you decide that you want sport seats, let me know. I'll be selling the sport seats out of my '99. They look like this:
Supple seats are very, very comfortable, low fatigue on long drives
drive faster... youll get there quicker
I have the sport seats ... I'm not " husky " ..... long drives it gets a bit uncomfortable so I usuallly take this common sense approach ...
supple seats and regular seats look like crap next to the sport seats, but yea, it's not for American folks by any stretch
I thought about this thread while driving today. Standard seats seem to not wrap around the shoulders well. I feel like my shoulder blades are resting on the outer edges. Wide shouldered folks I guess don't fit as well as the 5'7 150lb'er europeans.

I'm a 5'7" 130 pound American. The standard seats (supple leather) feel great and are quite comfortable. Of course, I've never had the car out for more than 20 miles at a time.
