Is it there a "fix" for the inherent odometer and/or speedo errors in the 996? (previous threads = up to 10% error readings vs GPS) Is there a "fix" for the faulty fuel gauge readings in a 1999 C2 996? (drops like a rock for the first 1/4 - 1/2 tank on the gauge) Does Porsche provide any $ help in correcting these "Common" faults in the early 996's - or for those cars that are "out-of-warranty"?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

A simple odometer calibration would fix your 1st problem. I have no idea as to the second.
