Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

NE1 know where the antenna is located for OE installations on cabs? My antenna (after market Pioneer unit) is located next to the blinking alarm light in the dash. The signal is not consistent. The OE unit in my S6 has 100% signal retention.

POST 2Original post

On my old Boxster I hid the antenna under the plastic cowling in front of the windshield, Reception was excellent. I just have the Antenna next to the A pillar on the dash in the 996, about the same but I plan to hide it better

Inside, Look like crapola

POST 5Original post

You can put the antenna under plastic as long as it is thin. I have the one on my X5 under the rear roof spoiler and it works great.
