Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

title says it all, I appreciate your recommendations, this would be for a 996 if that matters (probably obvious since this is the 996 forum ) Thanks,

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

no Porsche owners out in the central valley? Found out it's closer to Manteca actually, so somewhere in that vacinity would be nice. Stocton and Tracy aren't that far away either.

Kevin, this is David from the Yosemite Region PCA... I checked into this and I believe one of our members has a recommendation for you. Should be coming in an e-mail to you direct. David

POST 4Original post

You may need to go up to Sac or the Porsche dealer in Livermore. If you want an Indy shop you will most likely need to go in to the Bay.....

Thanks David for taking the time to help me out. I ended up taking the car to Mike Buckenham's Stuttgart West in Stockton. Allan, the guy who did my inspection used to work at the old Stockton Porsche dealer. The shop also has no complaints with the BBB. I wouldn't hesitate to send people there. Note that this is the type of shop where you will never find a expresso maker ;-) But those usually are the better ones in my experience. There are not a lot of places out there to go it seems. Oh yeah, I bought the car. It's a Midnight Blue '03 4S, 26K miles, still smells new. Give me a few days to post some photos.
