Hi all, can anyone tell if there are 2 different GT3 sideskirts for pre facelift 996 models? i saw yesterday a 996 C2 cabriolet with GT3 front bumper and a set of different GT3 sideskirts. can anyone help?

yes, they will both fit an 01 as well. There have been a few threads on this over at Renntech.org about people wanted to put the newer skirts on pre 02 cars. However, the lines of the pre 01 skirts will match the lines of the pre01 cars better especially if you have the GT3 front. The 02+ skirts have a more defined line and the pre02 skirts have a more curved line. Couldn't find the pics. I have the TSBs that shoe them in B&W. Not sure if that helps.

i understand that there are 2 different desings of sideskirts. pre-02 and 02-on.. the one that i have seen on that car wasn't any of both described above. since i have only seen once the more curved one i cannot locate it anywere, so that i can buy it. describing what i have seen, i can tell that half front was identical to normal GT3 01. second half though near the rear tyre the botom part of the skirt was projecting downwards and towards the front as well. imagine that the design look as a "hook". any help again...?

My best advice would be to call Brandywine. They usually have stuff like this in stock (they carry quite a bit of the older parts). I got mine from them for about 525.

two designs. early version is more rounded. later version is more angular. i have seen both very closely, both needs some gluing.
