Is there somewhere I can place a 996 VIN and get the options list?
I am looking at a 2000 996 Cab, triple black and I am trying to determine my offer. Some of that is going to hinge on what options it has. Is there an 800 number that could help me?

Why dont you just ask the owner or whoever is selling the car to you about its options unless the seller have no clue. You can try carfax but I dont think it lists the cars options though.
Owner has no clue, called Customer Committment group and they gave me the option list. I am missing a description for 288/696/750 and M6A but other than that it looks pretty nice. The only concern is that it was ordered with 18" Turbo look wheels but now is on 17s, maybe not that big of a deal, just have to find out why.

LV - you got it, the 17s have Blizzaks on them and the car has no spare. Must have sold the 18s at some point.

What is the seller asking for the car? I'm looking at a '99 996 cab, hardtop. 18" turbo twist wheels, tiptronic, and lots of options like heated seats - asking $51k - with 33k miles - have documented history, second owner all books, keys, etc. tires 75% left, a third party warranty for 4 more years or 100k miles. Seems reasonable for low mileage well maintained car.
46.2 with 20K miles. At the price the car is an EXCELLENT value. It is an older gentleman but there is still some concern about it being priced so low. It is local so this weekend I will go take a look and if it is visually okay then have the dealer to a PPI.
