Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I wonder what 0-60 time that car posted. It should be a record for a 996.

POST 3Original post

Wow I should sell my car in HK... from the article "The car was bought for about HK$1.2 million ($325,000) in 2001."

POST 5Original post

Car prices in Asia are ridiculously high because of all the taxes the governments tack on. I went to the Philippines last December and some of my friends were giving me a hard time because I own a Porsche. I told them they probably paid as much as I did for their (base) BMW 320i and Audi A4. One of the guys even had a BMW 5-Series Security (armor plated from factory) -- I don't even want to know how much he paid for that.

POST 6Original post

Big disparity in wealth in Hong-Kong... The city is actually pretty small so you can see a large amount of high-end cars (Porsche, BMW, Mercedes) all the time blend-in with large buses and taxis. Though most of them are motionless, stuck in heavy traffic downtown... One time I saw a brand new red Ferrari convertible in Time Square completely lock-grid stuck in traffic and the driver kept pounding the accelerator to attract public attention (including mine :-), what a waste of gas.
