Hi, Looking at getting a getty aero bumper after my factory bumper got damage on track. I have seen posts about quality being fairly good but those posts are 5-10 years old. I am just wondering if anyone has ordered one recently and if the quality is still very good? I know it wont be a bolt on and will require fitment. Thanks
I have a GTRacing front fiberglass bumper. It was a 7 ot of 10 and i would bet the getty is no better. Fittment is fine.....its the finish.
I have a rear lid/spoiler that I ordered from Getty a few months back. Great guys to work with. Quality of the items was great. They are abit old school contact wise but they will get your item to you safely. I ordered a 996.2 front aero bumper for my 996.1 from Tony Urgas at Precision Porsche. Once again an old school way of doing business where you call and tell him what you want and he takes payment over the phone. I was nervous taking both items to the body shop for paint and installation as I was worried they might say the quality was crap and would take a lot of adjustment and prep. This was not the case and the body shop was very impressed with the quality and fitment compared to other brands.
It�s not a front bumper but I did but a cup decklid for my 996.2 and the initial fitment was 8-10. It even came with the mesh and instructions. He was punctual and I was happy with the transaction.
