Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have any experience with Werks 1 in Sea Cliff (Long Island)? Supposedly they are a Porsche-only service center. A car I'm looking at had the 30k done there. Thanks. tom

POST 2Original post

I live in Glen Head/adjacent to sea cliff, never heard of them. I take mine to tkx in huntington. I'd pass.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Chris, The seller called it IWERKS, but I only found Werks 1. I'm in Huntington. Where is tkx? tom

POST 4Original post

I second Chris, never heard of IWERKS. Take the car to TKX. http://www.tkxperformance.com/ In Huntington Station

POST 5Original post

And I second yetis -- TKXPerformance is where to go.

POST 6Original post

Believe me sea cliff is basically my backyard, if there was a porsche place there I'd know about it and not schlepp out to huntington. TKX is on railroad street by the train station, Taso does excellent work.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whoa! From the pictures on their website, tkx looks like the place to go! And it's in my backyard. Thanks for the feedback. Suddenly this car isn't looking so good... tom

POST 8Original post

Hey Chris, Is that restaraunt LoLa's still in Huntington?

POST 10Original post

Yes Paul, I believe it is still there. Tom, tell Taso Chris H with the C4S sent ya, he'll hook you up.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I will. Just as soon as I find a P-car worthy of purchasing! I think I'm passing on the one that caused this thread in the first place. tom ps Lola's is still there.
