While detailing her on Sunday I noticed the gloss finish is coming off my black calipers. What to do? What to do? Probably no warranty though my car is a CPO vehicle. What to do?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Jeff - Well, you have a couple of options. You can get some clear caliper sealant and re-spray your calipers, or you can re-paint them and then spray them with the clear caliper sealant. I painted my stock black calipers red in February of this year. I really like the look of the red against the Lapis Blue. Not really that difficult and only cost me less than $25 ($15 for the caliper paint, $1 for a 1" bristle brush, and $8 for the PORSCHE decals/stickers). Below are a couple of pics. The first pic is after the paint and decals, but before the clear coat sealant. The second abd third pics are after the clear coat sealant. Here is a link to the thread (with a few more pics) I started about the painting process. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ht=weekend+Mod
