Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i recently bought a cpo 01 c4 coupe. i've noticed a persistent tinny window rattle on the driver side door. if you can imagine constant clinking of champagne glass, done very very fast but faintly, that is as good a description as i can come up with. i'm sure cpo will not cover it so i'm turning to you guys. occurs most of the time, whether idling or driving. if i press the upper portion of the door panel, it stops. pressing the glass out does not stop the rattle. thanks for any help or suggestions. for those of you who read my posts re rms, control arm and the O2 sensor immediately upon taking delivery, i did get my car back but they are still working through the paper work. it should work out to my satisfaction. i will post the final outcome as soon as i get there. thanks.

POST 2Original post

Possible window regulator adjustment or replacement. Is the door panel tightened down?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

how do i tighten down the door panel?

POST 4Original post

There are bolts and screws on the door panel behind airbag buttom, door handle etc. You can search for DIY to see all the bolts.
