Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

W00tey! what a sick set of rims! Install was very easy, just finding people with the right tools to torque down the new axel bolt was complicated. Special thanks to Jack @ G-Tek for lending us a torque multiplier to lock those things down. That was very nice of him. Thanks to all our mechanics: Januz Socko, Kirk Reid, Brian, Mario, Joe and the rest who read these forums on occasion. Rims are very light at roughly 20lbs and 21lbs respectivly. The fitment and offset is perfect, spacers be damned, who needs them in a case like this. If anyone is interested in a setup like this, we are considering distribution of 9ff Parts in Canada. Some pics for your viewing pleasure.

POST 4Original post

You gonna put on the side skirts and paint the bumperettes??? Wheels looks great but the front/rear spoiler just don't look right without the mkII side skirts.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

they are indeed 18's sir, and in your dollars are roughly 4700 bucks (which includes the hub assembly).

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

funny u should mention that, bumperettes will be painted next week. side skirts i'll do later on, now on funds now, i'm more concerned about getting some performance oriented stuff put on, like LWF per se. but MK II skirts are on the agenda, maybe techart skirts depending on how they photochop up.

POST 9Original post

Sheesh....all that, and I've got a set of painted bumperettes to match, sitting with your name on 'em.

POST 12Original post

Looks fantastic. I always wondered if I could get CGT type wheels for the 911. I wish someone made smaller versions of those wheels that would fit a C4S.

POST 13Original post

Could be one of the best looking wheels. How strong do you think they are? Are they for a Toronto daily driver?

POST 14Original post

Car is really coming along , car looks great.

POST 15Original post

Looks good, but not sure I would do it on a street car. A taco mk1 wing would look excellent on that car.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

^ now that i think about it, a full MK.1 areokit would be really sharp and with great OEM fitment. MISHA's wing is still excellent though. variety is the spice of life yetis: the car is a toronto daily driver, usually from months of april-november. they're aluminium, not mag, i believe they are forged as well, but i'll have to double check that. in any case, i drive around town quite slowly to avoid our bastard potholes and the streetcar tracks (kilrgt: st.clair street car tracks are killer) so i don't think i'll be destroying them anytime soon. thanks for the kind words guys.

POST 17Original post

Toronto Streets are hit and mis, pardon the pun, Mine is a daily and so far(Knock on wood) I have only bent one wheel out of the 4 or 5 sets I have.

POST 21Original post

Hehe... yeah drove my C4S up there for a conference in the summer. That was a good old fashion hand car wash for about $20... I would be lying if I said I remembered exactly where it was but it couldn't have been too far from my hotel on Bloor Street. BTW, the Spoke Club rocks.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

^ i think it is around bloor and church...but my directional sense is terrible (btw..could you try and look more pissed off in ur avatar )

POST 23Original post

I'm really a pretty mellow nice guy... but did you notice 5-0 behind me?

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

AAAAAhahahahhah actually i didn't. what'd they nab you for? (btw. nice choice in sunglasses. i had the exact same oakleys for about 5 years and they were indestructible. headed a soccer ball inccorectly once and warped them, dropped em off my motorcycle at speed twice, sat on them countless times. worth every penny. the third motorcycle drop was what came close to killing them, but i lost them before i could find out lol.)

POST 25Original post

I want to say it was a high speed chase across state lines that ended in a shoot out, but he was a local guy that got me for talking on my cell phone, $100 fine. Yeah I've had mine forever - the lenses keep popping out for some odd reason but other than that they are great driving glasses.

POST 26Original post
