Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Wish it was me in that pic... Winner: Clif Rosenberry in NY

POST 2Original post

I would immediately trade it in for that yellow GT3 in the back. Nice key chain though (even if doesn't match the car's brakes).

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would be too if that was me receiving the key. I've read somewhere that the engine in the club coupe will outdo the GT3 engines. What a lucky guy Clif is.

POST 6Original post

Clif is a great guy, very easy going and great to talk to - he deserves that car.

POST 7Original post

are there any more pics (where we can see more of the car and less of these lucky guys)?

POST 8Original post

2 totally different engines. Same hp (380 v 381) but the GT3 is a lighter more nimble car built for the track and would be no contest. The engines serve thier master's in 2 very different ways. For the city streets though (and just good ole GT cruising) the 997SX51 with the way to go.

POST 10Original post

well I meant of this particular car anyhoo here's more info http://www.pca.org/panorama/pano_gal_805.html

POST 11Original post

Guys, seriously, I'm not so wild about the interior. Porsches are looking less and less like racecars and more and more like Audis. Frankly, the 996 is about as 'polished' a look as I want to go for the interior. Somedays, I miss the 993 and 964 interiors. More about the car and driving it then just sitting in it and operating the air conditioner (I mean, do you even remember how hard those A/C units used to be to operate? You almost needed a Ph.D.).

POST 12Original post

I second that... not a fan of the 997 interior. I think the 996 interior was the perfect balance between 993 and semi-modern european car. The 997 is very plasticy, and IMHO too delicate looking. Just my 2 cents...
