Hello, Can anyone explain the difference between "Clear" and "Smoked" when upgrading the Side Markers and Clear Corners. I've purchased both mods from the dealer thinking they were Clear like the headlights, but both the Side Markers and Clear Corners appear to be smoked and slightly darker than the plastic on the main headlight. Is this normal or am I purchasing the wrong model number? The part numbers I purchased are listed below: Side Markers: 996 631 044 01 and 996 631 043 01 Clear Corners: 996 631 045 00 and 996 631 046 00 My 996 is Arctic Silver, so I thought maybe the light paint color is making the side markers look darker. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Nick

That is correct... the side markers are more "smoked" than the headlights

As far as I know there is no "smoked" side markers...just the clear ones and, as evo says above they do appear smoked.

I believe that there are some aftermarket clear corner lights that are "crystal clear", but they are not from the OEM.
