Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

lol, the delivery guy in their ford truck?

POST 4Original post

I am a daily driver in my C4 Cab. (with hardtop) In Sweden we often get snow.

POST 7Original post

does your spoiler ever get frozen shut? or is the ice usually gone by the time you get up to speed?

POST 9Original post

Drive mine in MD lastnight and today. Beats the hell out my old m3 in these conditions.

POST 10Original post

I left Connecticut at 10 am yesterday with 1 1/2 feet on the ground (and most of it still on the road too)....snow falling at a rate of 2 - 4 inches and hour. Route 202 and 7 covered like it wasn't even plowed as well as I84. Didn't see pavement until well past Newburg. Thank God I was in my BMW and not the 996. I had changed my mind about taking the Porsche back to New England last week......I am glad I changed my mind. It took 2 /1/2 hours to go 60 miles. Virtually NO traffic. The 996 would have been like a snow board due to the depth of the snow on the road.

POST 11Original post

No, but I drove my wife's BMW RWD wagon with Dunlop Wintersport M3 snow tires and it was great in the snow banks.

POST 12Original post

Drove my 2001 C4 today no problems. Some yellow light kept blinking on the dash as I accelerated hard in the corners.

POST 13Original post

I drove with the roof down today...and saw the terrible blizzard on tv....man am I glad I moved to Southern California 2 years ago...miss NYC everyday but never the weather. I guess it's cool to drive a C4 in the snow!!!!

POST 16Original post

Drove my C2 to work today. Snow was still a little deep in places and a little frozen at 25 degrees. I didn't like the sound of it scraping the under tray. Oh well, its only plastic. Pic is not from today, but a couple of winters ago after a morning run to get a newspaper at 7-11.

POST 17Original post

Didn't get as much snow in the Niagara region but last week I was having a blast turning into street with the PSM ON then OFF.....I'm just amazed how welll the PSM works and actually how subtle it feels when it kicks in. I definitively recommend to anyone driving in the snow to find an empty lot and toss the car around with the PSM ON then OFF to see how the car react. I found that by doing this at low speed at first in a benign environment really builds up your confidence.
