Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

VTG - Not sure what it is but I like it http://www.porsche.com/all/masterwerk/usa.aspx 480 bhp I wonder how much the Turbo 's' will have

POST 2Original post

yeah, they look great... except for those weird foglights

POST 4Original post

well they finally went ahead and did it... 'variable turbine technology' something talked about for years in turbo circles.... what's interesting is the tip is rated at 3.4 vs. 3.7 seconds for 0-60!! that's some sick power... 480 hp... wonder if you can get to 600HP with a chip, downpipe and exhaust... lol.... (yeah... like 3.4 ain't fast enough...)

POST 5Original post

I like it, yah a bit wierd for fog lights and those leds in the front, but other then that it looks good and sounds like it has a whole lot better awd system. An automatic faster then the manual, damn I never though that would happen and it's not even a DSG system.

POST 6Original post

If I could only afford one!!! What an amazing car...and the fog light are a nice touch! Nice seat and I can see a couple of tuners going to town on this car and make it even better looking and FASTER!!

POST 7Original post

That thing is SICK - I want one SOOO BAD. How much do you guys think I can get for a kidney?

POST 8Original post

Ugh is this posted in every forum on Rennlist? I'm pretty sure I saw it in OT, here, AND the 997 forum, not to mention I'm sure if I looked it'd be in the 997TT forum! Shucks, that's why we have the different forums, right?

POST 9Original post

I'll give you $12 and half a pepperoni mushroom pizza!

POST 10Original post

Kidney's normally go for 25k. I guess if you were born with 5 or 6 of them, you'd be in good shape.

POST 11Original post

Well my order is in, and I gotta tell ya I still am not sure how I feel about the look, I know the car will be a fast car, its a turbo but still. I will reserve the right to say anything more until its in my hot little hands.

POST 13Original post

I'm liking the 997 GT3 oh so much more - that thing still weighs 3,500 lbs.

POST 14Original post

Unfortunately for me I could never consider a GT3 because I drive all year round in some ****ty weather, so it will always be c4, c4s or turbo. With the exception of the fog lamps I like the looks, of course seeing in person is the only way to judge for sure.

POST 15Original post

Kilrgt: Can't wait to see the mods you'll do on that new Turbo!... When do you expect delivery?
