Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Been researching all weekend. Viscous coupling, PSM and ABS mandate a less than 2% (I think) difference in rolling diameter between the front and rear tires. MPSC's finally have the stock sizes for the C4S, 225/40/18 fr and 295/30/18 rr. I thought I'd put a little more rubber on the road. Anyone try 235/40/18 fr and 315/30/18 rr? C4S/turbo wheels with 8" and 11" width should handle those sizes. Think there will be any issues with rubbing, weight, what-not? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Palting, FWIW last year a guy had RA-1's with those sizes on his C4S. He said he had no problems with it. P.S: He either had JIC's or X73's, I am not too sure????

POST 3Original post

I think the number is 4%, but alot of guys around here with TTs' run that configuration(235/295) without a hitch. I have MSC with 225/295, no issues.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm gonna go ahead with the stock sizes. With the move-up to MPSC's and X73, I may already have more traction than I know what to do with, anyway. Just wondering about opinions and experience with the larger tires.
