I saw a set of "996" Floor mats on ebay made by Lloyd http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2407476005&category=33697 ) The Mats were black with Red 996 lettering. I really liked them but wanted a different Color. I looked in Tweeks who carries Lloyd MAts and they said they can not embroider 996 due to copyright laws. Any suggestions. Do you think if I contacted Lloyd directly, they would do it?

I would bet these people bought lloyds mats and had them embriodered themselves. Dave
Most local shops will do it if not lloyds.
I had Lloyds mats embossed with the 996 logo. I wanted the Porsche Symbol but they would not do that do to copy right laws. The company that did this advertises in the excellence Magazine, I wish i had the name but you will find them in there.
Thanks Guys!!
I was pretty sure Lloyds could do this. They were more than willing to do "911". I know they will NOT do "Carrera" or "Porsche." Lloyds used to supply mats to Porsche during the 993 days. The new OEM Porsche mats are not as good as the Lloyds. I have a set of Lloyds on order. They even have Porsche factory match colors.
I have just recieved my loyd mats with porsche embroidery....they have a license with porsche.
i just got mine...premium carpet dual logo, porsche lettering silver white, carrera lettering red, they are licensed from porsche so no problems...Noel DeGraw [[email removed]], great service great price
Lloyds now has the license. I got mine (metro blue with silver Porsche). They can do "996" too. Got it from Performance products ( www.automotion.com) .
to be very honest...I think the loyd mats look very cheap...like my wife said: the look like bath mats...they make my P look like a ***** house on wheels...i just wrote them to ask if they have any other mats, but those plush ones...
They make two different levels of plushness. If your car looks like a ***** house inside you have more stuff going on then the mats
The 996 mats are crap. The old 993 mats were fantastic. In my experience with the Boxster S that I used to have (same mats as the 996) I wore holes in the mat twice. I will definitely go Lloyds with deviated stitching and custom writing on it next time round for sure.
I had Pelican parts do it fot me. I ordered on line and designed it on line with the GT3 logo in red on a black mat. You can choose many color combinations.
I ordered mine before they had a license, so I had to get my initials. I want to get new mats with the C4S logo.
Riad - The first letter of your middle name is a "4"?.... oh, wait.... I understand now.... you GOT them with your initials and now you WANT to get C4S! I get it now! J/K!!
