Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thinking about swapping the stock black belts (front and rear) out of my '02 coupe for a set of guards red. Searched here at RennTech in an attempt to find instructions to see what I'd be getting myself into but have not had much luck. Anyone done it or can someone steer me to a link that would be helpful? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

I never understood why in the world Porsche red seat belts cost over $500 uninstalled! I would do them in a heartbeat, if they weren't so damn expensive. Duh!

POST 3Original post

Hmmm I can't remember any good DIY instructions. However I remember the fronts were very easy and the rears were difficult. Lots of plastic tabs so be careful when removing the inside panels you do need several tools like Torx head sockets. IMHO The Red against black is hot. I have even thought about swapping out my SY seat belts for red because I love the look of the red. I think the front belts alone are about $800.
