Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the vflow had problems breathing before with the lid closed. there shouldn't be any problems now

POST 2Original post

I respect that, cut it up to make more power....I would have done the same thing

POST 3Original post

I guess that's cool if it makes it work better....

POST 5Original post

Karlooz... you just love to tweak! Try to make sure you're not sucking in any hot air Once you're moving though.. well it's fine. Sitting still though (a la on a dyno) you might not suck in cooler air like that! I remember I did the same thing with a stock TT box

POST 6Original post

Oh wait scrap what I said... I just saw what you did.. it wasn't to the box it was to the wing itself:P You clever guy.. you!

POST 7Original post

isn't there a possibility you could get a lot of water in there if it rains?

POST 8Original post

DD, that's a problem I had with my misha wing, it was open like that, but more, it did let water in anytime it rained.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ya it is louder but i love it!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yo sharky! i don't think there's much of a chance of sucking in hot air as the hole exposes the evo to cold air. and ya, i love to tweak

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ya if it rains then i'll block it off ghetto style, DUCT TAPE i'll just block off the top half to form a barrier. it rained just the other day and no problems

POST 14Original post

That is really Awesome. I am really surprised Porsche made the stock intake suck air from the other side of the engine. It doesn't make sense. I wondered how much air is now going to the left intake side.

POST 15Original post

Wow, I feel dumb as I never though about checking for that...what's the consensus...does it make a noticeable difference with the cut ?

Thanks for the links...any luck EVO comes up with a custom decklid for those of us not so inclined to cut a GT3 decklid from scratch....
