Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys Is there anyone here who's driven a current m3 who can let me know how the m3 ride compares to the 911? I've run into a really nasty back injury and my 996 is just way too harsh. TIA

POST 2Original post

M3 is definately smoother, quieter too Just switched from an M5 with H&R/Bilstein suspension to a 996 C4S, find the 996 C4S somewhat harsh on Calgary roads Is that your 03 C4S on kijiji, looks nice

POST 3Original post

It depends. I have a 99 C2 with 17in rims and I would say the ride is more compliant than my father in law's M3 and that's on the pothole ridden roads of Philadelphia.

POST 4Original post

I had a 2011 M3. Definitely smoother and a better daily driver. Much bigger though....

POST 5Original post

I believe the longer wheelbase on the m3 lends itself to a better ride. I like the e46 M3 better than my 996 and would probably trade for one.
