Is this something I can ask the local pdealer for or will they be confused? I'd like to purchase one ASAP. I'm also looking for a deal on a LWF. The best I can find is about $700 from FVD. Does anyone have any recommendations for better prices or availability.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

If you have a GT3 the part number is 996-107-491-91. There is no 1-way crankcase breather valve for the wetsump 996 engine. If you have a GT3 model the OE Porsche LWF has an MSRP of $535.12USD so it can easily be found for ~$400 or less. Unless you have a wetsump 996 there is no reason to go aftermarket.
