Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Like this....
I would be more worried about how to take it off the 991.
Dental floss.
I don't like it on the 991. I know I wouldn't like it on my 996.
I like the script much more.
I guess I am the minority here but I happen to like it. I guess that is why they say "to each his own".
It might look on the new model, but not in the 996
I dont even think it looks good on the 991, too much writing! Other than that I think the 991 looks damn good! But than again, My car is debadged.
That emblem might be cool for the tool chest or garage wall though. Hmm...
I guess I understand the big lettering/branding on a Cayenne or Panamera... but on a Carrera? Seems overdone.

Looks like a billboard on the back of the car. However, I do agree it would look awesome on my toolbox!

+1 This goes right along with the 80's craze of having a windshield banner proclaiming what kind of car you are driving. Is this for the people that really have no idea it's a Porsche, you just have to make sure it's pointed out to them? I don't even like having the crest on my wheels. A VW logo would be cool, something only true Porsche people would understand.
I think it looks great and absolutely plan on putting one on my 996. I like the simplicity of it, the script is great but with this "PORSCHE" I enjoy that while retaining subtlety, it still quite boldly states what it is. Plus, it's a nice alternative to badging when all you have is a base Carrera. It's one thing to have a GT3, Turbo, etc, but "Carrera" eventually gets boring.
I have had in several occasions the following comments: "Nice Carerra 4" "What is this? Oh, Carerra" "Carerra. Italian is it?"
I seen this at Rennsport reunion and the back of the car is full of chrome script, way to busy for my taste, but if you like it, this will be easy to do, i'm sure it is just a peel & stick like the ones on the 996.
