Got a Porsche mailer in the mail today. There's a brochure on the new 991, and they have a new website. It gives you the chance to take a "drive" in the new car. Lots of fun. The 991 in ACTION Enjoy. Larry

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hey Larry. How's that red turbo running? Thanks for the link.
Hey Boots, Thanks for asking. On November 1st, the Red Devil went into hibernation. It has been sitting in the garage, with a charger hooked up to it since then. I go out and get my $hit eating grin on a regular basis. Now I just have to wait till the spring shows up and the last salt is washed off the streets. Then, hit boost out of every light till the feeling of newness wears off again. It's a long winter, except that we just got our first snow last night. Oh well. larry
Good to hear she's sleeping til spring. We don't want to hear any more tales about passing 18 wheelers in snow storms in 2012. Don't rub it in about the boost off the line. There are a few of us on this section with TT envy. All the best to you. Sam T.
Thanks for the sentiment. I just had a new grandson delivered two weeks ago. That makes 6 gkids. I think about the accident more often than not. That was my moment of rebirth. I keep thinking of how close I came to ending it all. Now in the winter, it's just me and the Subaru Outback. larry
Nice website. I generally like the exterior styling of the new car, but the 20's are oversized for the car IMO. Gives it a Chrysler look. I don't like the interior at all however. I have a VW CC corporate car and it has almost the exact same interior. The switch gear is identical.

The spoiler on back does not go up on the new 911?
I think it does - but slightly differently than the 996 style moving spoiler
