Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 2002 4S has the aluminium-look gear stick with the porsche badge on it - see pic IMHO the metal-look plastic horseshoe that goes around the base of the gaiter is cheap looking, and is also a source of a rattle for me. The top of the gear stick is also a bit scratched. Leather colour is Metropole Blue. Any options that don't cost 300+??? Think I might prefer the standard gear lever without the plastic horseshoe, so might consider a swap if anyone is interested. Many thanks, Gareth.
